Exploration 01

The dictionary on my mac (amongst many things) says a square is:
“A plane figure with four equal straight sides and four right angles.”

My initial thoughts are to find something that comes in multiples to photograph creating a square; Cutlery, pens, shoes, carrots, celery, spaghetti.....
I decided that forks were interesting to make a study from as they are identically formed (unless odd) and you can change them around to make different iterations.



In hindsight it might have been interesting to collect lots of odd forks from junk shops and create a series of even and uneven squares. But it still isn't flexible enough to explore all the things on the list with.
